🇺🇸ALMOST HALF OF AMERICANS FEEL LONELY
Nearly 40.3% of American adults reported experiencing loneliness at least sometimes, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey.
This survey, conducted from July 23 to August 19 with nearly 60,000 respondents, highlights a significant public health concern emphasized by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.
Loneliness rates are highest in Alaska (45.9%), Oregon (44.7%), and Virginia (43.3%), while Iowa (35.9%), Delaware (36.5%), and Wisconsin (37%) report the lowest levels.
Seasonal factors may contribute to these feelings, particularly in colder regions during winter.
