The U.S. Navy fleet in the region has decreased from 30% to 25% of its deployed force following the departure of the Roosevelt carrier group and other ships.

The Navy's only fuel resupply vessel in the region also ran aground and was towed to Oman.

Meanwhile, they have deployed additional troops to Cyprus to aid with evacuations from Lebanon.
